Youtube video of a normal polypectomy

This is NOT a video of my procedure. This is what a normal polyp looks like and I imagine it's how my first surgery went back in 2006. What's most amazing to me still is that there is virtually no pain and no blood from this surgery.

In my next post I'll describe my situation from my surgery I just had performed that was not quite this simple.

Hi:

I love your Anosmia Blog.

I have had complete Anosmia for about 8 to 10 years now, and have been maybe 80% to completely anosmic sionce 1998 maybe.

I have had two surgeries on my sinuses as well.

Prior to the surgeries the Cat Scans showed lots of blockage. But even after the surgery I still cannot smell or taste without strong Prednizone, and it has been about 4.5 years since the last surgery.(2006)

I am a House Painter, and have started a blog on the topic of House Painting, and have started with the topic of the possibly related occupational condition of Anosmia--trying to arrive at a better understanding of how my condition came to be.

Anyway, what I am asking is:
Is it Occupational, or caused by something else?

But I can totally identify with everything you write about. I haven't read all of your posts, but will.
